Dr. Bibi Tasleyma Sattar is a board-certified physician specializing in osteopathic medicine. After earning her doctor of osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University, she completed a family medicine residency at Florida’s Palmetto General Hospital. Today, Dr. Bibi Tasleyma Sattar works at Wellmed, a family medicine practice in Fort Worth, Texas.

A member of the American Association of Family Physicians, Dr. Sattar served for 10 years as the medical director of Oakmont Wellness Center, a clinic she founded and managed. In addition to her clinical expertise, she has held various educational posts in clinics and hospitals. In 2009, she joined the clinical faculty at the University of North Texas Health Science Center as an assistant professor. She also led research studies tackling vitamin D deficiency and chronic pain.

Outside her professional life, Dr. Sattar enjoys reading and cooking. Her other interests include gardening, photography, and community work. She has served as a member of the Institutional Biosafety Committee since 2010.
